The short of it
I grew up splitting time between a small cattle farm in Nebraska and Houston, Texas. Rural and city, dirt and concrete, wide open and crowded. That push and pull shaped how I see things — and probably why I've never felt like I fit cleanly in one box.
I went to school for journalism with an emphasis in advertising and public relations, picked up minors in creative writing and theatre performance, and somewhere along the way got serious about acting. I've been in feature films and commercials, and I'll take any excuse to riff and improvise with a good crew. That's where I do my best work, not from a script, but from a genuine feel for the moment.
I got into the trades to build something stable. Honest work, skilled work, the kind that earns its keep. I'm still early in that path and I don't pretend otherwise.
UGC made sense the moment someone pointed it out to me. I was already auditioning. I was already using the gear, wearing the boots, riding, spending time in the woods. The difference is that here I'm not waiting on a callback. I'm just doing what I already do, with intention, and for brands I actually respect.
I'm not performing a lifestyle for the camera. The camera just comes along for the ride.
What I Bring to the Work
A journalism background that understands how messaging lands. An acting background that makes delivery feel natural, not rehearsed. And a life lived close enough to the products I shoot that nothing has to be faked.
If that sounds like what your brand needs, let's talk.
